The District Administration Pulwama has mobilized market checking squads in District Pulwama to curb the black marketing. The checking squad comprising on CA&PD, Revenue, Police, Municipal Counsel, Drug Control and weights & measures Headed By Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone.
The squad inspected various markets of Pulwama town and recovered fine of Rs: 18150/- from various defaulted shopkeepers and vendors and the persons who were found smoking in public places and also destroyed 1 quintal rotten vegetables and adultered milk on spot and also seized 1 domestic gas cylinder from hotel.
The team also made a surprise visit to various Govt. offices like, DIC, PDD, SICOP, Animal Husbandry and R&B Division Pulwama and besides a general drive was made to remove the encroachments from footpaths was taken up successfully.

The enforcement squad of CA&PD Department Pulwama headed by Assistant Director CA&PD conducted market checking in Murran Pulwama today. An amount of Rs: 1600/- have been recovered as fine from the erring shopkeepers on spot and huge quantity of substandard milk and rotten vegetables were also destroyed by the squad. While during the current month the squad has recovered fine of Rs: 16800/- as on date from traders/shopkeepers from violating of essential commodities.

Under the instructions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir the District Development Commissioner Pulwama today took review the supply of essential commodities, cooking gas, ration, electricity, and medical facilities to the public during the tour of Tral, Awanipora Tehsils today.
The DDC meet various deputations at various places and assured them that their grievances will be solved immediately. He instructed the concerned departments to fulfill their day to day demands of public on priority basis and took steps for providing basic needs/requirements during the winter season.

For the welfare of Rural Artisans, establishment of income generating units and to benefit them regarding various schemes and awareness camp was organized today at Industrial Estate Pulwama.
This camp was organized by the Handicrafts Department. On this occasion Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone was the chief guest.
On this occasion it was informed that 20 training centres in different crafts are running in the district handled by the Handicrafts Department. In these centres 469 trainees are being trained in various crafts. The Department has registered 243 artisans in the district. Out of which 63 artisans loan case has been sponsored to various banks for grant of loan. Under health scheme 106 artisans have been covered in the district.
The Assistant Commissioner stressed upon the rural artisans to cooperate with the Handicrafts Department for development of handicrafts and establishment of income generating units.
(Republic Day arrangements meeting held at Pulwama)

Arrangements were finalized for celebration of Republic Day in District Pulwama today. The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner Mr. Shafat Noor. High level District Officers of Civil, Police & Security Forces attended the meeting.
In the meeting it was said that the District Level Function will be organized at District Police Lines Pulwama where National Flag will be hoisted and Chief Guest will took Slute on the march past. The cadets of J&K Police, CRPF, Fire & Emergency Services, NCC & School children will participate in the march past. Colourfull cultural programmes will be presented on this occasion.
The District Development Commissioner stressed upon the officers to take responsibilities for celebration of Republic Day with zeal & vigor.
In the meeting it was said that Republic Day will be celebrated also at Tehsil Headquarters Awantipora, Tral & Pampore.

The settlement work has been completed in 231 villages in district Pulwama whiles as the work is under progress in 112 villages.
This information was given in a high level meeting of Revenue Officers of District Pulwama held at Pulwama today. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Mr. Shafat Noor. Among others Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Muneerul Islam, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone and Tehsildars of District Pulwama attended.
In the meeting 79 cases were decided under Roshni Act. Out of 59 Patwar Halqas the 17 buildings were constructed in the District, the meeting was informed.
The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama instructed that the Patwaries should be attended to their Patwari Halqas on Monday & Thursday for the settlement of various cases of public.
In the meeting Land Acquisition, RTI Act, Public Service Guaranty Act, & other matters were discussed. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Tehsildars to organized meetings with Sarpanches & Panches for the development and the welfare of public.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama & Assistant Commissioner Revenue today inspected various Govt. offices and checking the attendance of employees under the orders of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama. Further the market checking squards inspected various markets of District Pulwama and collected Rs: 3000/- fine from various shopkeepers and destroyed 2 quintals of substandard vegetable on spot.
The ADC & ACR stressed upon the shopkeepers to sold the essential commodities on the approved rates. They warned that strong action will be taken against the defaulters.

To ensure availability of stocks of essential commodities in district Pulwama a meeting was held at Pulwama today under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Pulwama Mr. Shafat Noor.
Among others Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Nasir Ahamd Lone, Assistant Director CA&PD, Tehsildar Pulwama and other officers participated in the meeting.
It was informed in the meeting that the stocks of 11338 Quintals of Rice, 1576 quintals of Atta, 334 quintals of Sugar are available in the district at present. During last 10 days 6320 Cooking Gas Cylinders were distributed among the consumers.
DDC stressed upon the officers to intensified the market checking in the whole district so that essential commodities are available on fixed rates to the public.
It was informed in the meeting that Market Checking squards are conducting inspections at all tehsil headquarters. A fine of Rs: 3000/- was recovered from the erring shopkeepers further 2 quintals substandard vegetables were destroyed on spot.
The DDC instructed the concerned departments for coordination with each other for the supplying of essential commodities and other requirements during the winter season with out any difficulty.

To ensure the availability of domestic supply of cooking gas for the consumers of the district Pulwama a special squard of district officers under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone conducted market checking of various hotels, Restaurants, Shops and Govt. Offices in Pulwama town today.
During the checking 48 domestic gas cylinders were seized from different Hotels, Tea Shops and Govt. offices. Besides two vehicles plying with the use of domestic gas were also seized during the checking.
Among others Assistant Regional Transport Officer Pulwama, Assistant Dirctor CA&PD Pulwama, Chief Inspector CA&PD Pulwama and S.H.O. Pulwama were accompanied with market checking squard.
(Solar Home Lights Distributed in Tral Block)

The Department of Science & Technology (J&K Energy Development Agency) Pulwama distributed Solar Home Lights among the beneficiaries of Doodmurg and Hajin villages of block Tral under Rural Village Electrification Programme for this purpose the department spent Rs: 32 laces for this purpose.
On this function MLA Tral Mushtaq Ahmad Shah was the Chief Guest who appreciated the Science & Technology Department for providing of Solar Home Lighting System in these two un-electrified villages. He laid emphasis on the use of renewable energy sources. District Officer J&K Energy Development Agency Science & Technology Department Pulwama Mr. Javeed Ahmad laid stress on the use of renewable energy and advised the beneficiaries to make judicious use of it.

(2nd Phase 3 Day Mediation Training Programme for Mediators & Referral Judges Started at Pulwama today)

2nd phase Mediation Monitoring Training Programme for Mediators and Referral Judges of Pulwama & Shopian Districts start at Pulwama today. Its 1st phase was organized from 3rd to 5th December at Pulwama by the High Court Mediation Monitoring Committee. During this training programme senior lawyers, Judicial Officers & Retired Judges of Pulwama & Shopian Districts are being imparted training by two eminent trainers of Delhi Mediation Centre namely Doctor Jain & Doctor Bensil deputed by Mediation Conciliation Project Committee Supreme Court of India. These two trainers deliver lectures on this occasion. A PowerPoint presentation regarding mediation and alternate dispute relation was presented on this occasion.
It was stated that mediation is a voluntary process in which an impartial and neutral mediator facilities disputing parties in reaching a settlement. He doesn’t impose a solution but creates conductive environment in which disputing parties can resolve their disputes. In a mediation process litigants personally express their views directly with out any fear of any adverse action and work out solution which meets their interest and gives them more satisfaction. Further this is a process which helps the parties to save their time energy money and relationship.
On this occasion Principal & District Session Judge Pulwama Mr. M. Y Wani & Rashid Ali Dar Principal District Session judge Shopian were also present.
